Being Thankful To Improve Wellbeing

Connecting with positive emotions that are already around us and acknowledging the good things that you experience in your life can help combat mental health illnesses such as anxiety and depression as well as increasing wellbeing and happiness.
As you know, gratitude is expressing appreciation for what you have and reflecting on the aspects of life that bring joy. By practising being thankful you will fight the tendency to look at the negatives.

- Something good that I saw someone do .....
- Something I accomplished today .....
- Something funny that happened today .....
- Someone I was thankful for today because .....
- Today I smiled when .....
- Something about today I’ll always want to remember .....
- My favourite part of today was .....

Gratitude Jar:

Gratitude Jars are a fun, artistic, and hands-on way to practice gratitude.

Simply create a special jar where you can keep hand written gratitude statements that you can look back on at the end of the week to show all the things you have been thankful for.
